Food for all seasons
EATING OUT The Four Seasons’ menu is a mix of cuisines that come with their own authentic flavour. SAHIL GUPTA
Located in Anna Nagar, this franchise from Hyderabad is a real treat with its delicious multi-cuisine food. The ambience is plush and is quite spacious with a seating capacity of 150. Moving on to the most important part, that is the food, the place has a wide variety of mocktails. We chose Italian Smooth, which was quite different from the regular mocktails. It had a strong essence of ginger and was very refreshing. The mint cooler is another must-try.
Delicious variety
The hummus, a speciality from Dubai, is a must-have! The Aloo Tikki was just amazing and was as good as those from Hyderabad and Delhi. Next, we chose a Veg Platter and Indian Mix Grilled Platter; the latter being a treat for non-vegetarians. It has two varieties of chicken, three varieties of fish and prawns but at the same time is quite heavy on your pocket! The Veg Platter was also tasty but the paneer could have been better. A speciality here is the Mutton Biryani prepared in true Hyderabadi style. The mutton is soft and tender and properly marinated.
For dessert, try the Umm Ali, another Arab offering, which tastes like a distant cousin to our very own kheer! The waiters are prompt and serve with a smile. Some take the trouble to help you decide what would suit you and also patient enough to explain the details of the dishes. I would not suggest the place for vegetarians, as the variety is limited. On the whole, it is a good family restaurant and a joy for non-vegetarians who can relish the wide variety offered to them.Cost: Dinner for two works out about Rs.1300
