EATING OUT Pasta Bar Veneto at T.Nagar is perfect for a lazy Italian luncheon, complete with yummy pastas and pizzas. GAURAV DANGI
Located on Burkit Road, T.Nagar, Pasta Bar Veneto looks simple yet elegant. The ambience is unquestionably serene and looks inviting at night. It has both indoor and outdoor seating and live performances every weekend. The menu offers a decent number of options to choose from. There are the usual suspects: pastas and pizzas apart from starters, soups, grills, sandwiches, crepes, baked items, beverages and desserts.
We started our lunch with potato wedges, ricotta fingers and Kiwi soda. All three were spot on. The Ricotta fingers were so tasty, I didnt care a bit about the number of calories. The dip served with the starters was tangy. Moving on to the main course, the pastas and pizzas were fantastic and give you a true Italian dining experience. Diavola pizza will put all your apprehensions to rest. One thing you should not miss is the Mudpie. It is a sinfully tasty dessert.Be warned that the service is not great. It’s a little lazy and slow. It is a perfect place for a lazy, relaxed meal; preferably romantic. The portions are generous and should suffice for all. You must definitely go there for the pizzas and Mudpie .
Meal for two: Rs. 450-500
