With months of hard work, practice and arrangements “u me & him” made its way to the big stage. This was by far Chennai’s best ever gospel music concert as it was a very fulfilling experience for the audience. Organised by Joel Thomas and Rohith Fernandes this big event had cost them sleepless nights and days of hard work making sure they got the best. This concert involved quite a few a big musicians to its credit .
The line up for the day was headed by Joel Thomas , Rohith Fernandes , Timmy Madhukar, Ramya, Maxyn and Zippora as the vocalists, Keith Peters on the bass , Bruce lee on lead guitars, Keba Jeremaiah on Acoustic rhythm guitars, Jim Sathya and Daniel Christian on keyboards, Vasanth on the drums and Allwyn on the percussions.
The show also witnessed a guest performance by Pr Chadwick Samuel. Also accompanying them was a choir of around 35 youngsters. The show began at 6.30 with Joel leading the group to their first song of the day titled Arise by Don Moen, they continued to play soulful gospel music that evening performing around 18 songs from various gospel artists like Don Moen, and praise music like hillsongs. In addition to this Joel also added a small act where he portrayed how Satan tempts people. At the end of the show they left the audiences asking them to perform a few more songs as they didn’t realize how quickly the evening had passed by even after the group performed 18 songs.
