As I studied in a girls school, I had the chance of observing and experiencing, what a perfect school gal would do!! Starting from naming teachers (one of our teachers was called Hitler!! ) TILL….going for shopping, having your own signature look, giving a cool name to your jing-bang (our jing bang was called “cressda” and later on we were known as “da scream”!), planning to bunk school and go for a movie(never did that!!! we were more concerned of the guilt which would  follow!)

My jing-bang was called the “show-off gang” at school! (Actually, all were jus jealous of all of us, coz we were getting attention from everyone!!). How can I forget the chemistry class letters! We all used to sit in the same row and pass letters (mostly it was comments about the teacher like ‘look how old fashioned her blouse is!!’) and forming our own theories like “james bond theory” (it’s actually valence bond theory !) then, having code words for most of the stuff (we usually don’t speak much about guys…honestly!!!). Then was the day when my friend was selected as the cultural secretary. She would select all of us for every culturals (We did win a lot of prizes!). Then, silly fights for food then came  our excursion (went to Mysore and Coorg!).

Teachers couldn’t stand us! They hated our group to the core! Then there  was the bunking of the evening games and running out of school to my friend’s house and singing out loud “WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!”

Suddenly came our farewell, which marked the end of our school days - how can I forget the tears! Even after all, we still had fun and still want to have fun! Thats why I like Cyndi Lauper’s “girls just wanna have fun!”
