This is the Backstreet Boys’ sixth album, and the first with only four members. It begins with a melancholy intro, which shares the chorus of the last song “Unsuspecting Sunday Afternoon”. Then comes the fast-paced trance song, “Everything but mine”. Following that is the scintillating “Inconsolable”. The power-ballad “Helpless…” has breathtaking lyrics. Any Other Way is a totally out-of-this-world punk rock song. “Panic” is a cheerful rock-and-roll number. “Unmistakeable” is an outstanding power-ballad. The teen-pop sound has given way to more grown-up ballads. Some songs have a sort of an uncommon feel, such as “Trouble Is”. The album proves that the Backstreet Boys are eternal.
