Like the two sides of a coin, “Slumdog Millionaire” has attracted its share of criticism too for the portrayal of slums in Mumbai, which some say is glossed and the others, exploited. Either way, the slums are in the spotlight and so is their condition, which leaves a lot to be desired.

So share with us your opinion on the portrayal of slums in the film, and what can be done in the real world to improve their living standards and facilities available to them. Also, we would like to know if any of you have been involved in activities for the benefit of the slums and if so what did you do?
